Racial equity is one of the burning issues of Seattle’s 2021 mayoral contest. Ask the candidates your questions in our free, online forum! Each candidate will be given 40 minutes. They will speak briefly regarding their experiences and priorities related to racial equity. The remainder of the time will be devoted to Q&A. The questions will come from you! RARE is a multiethnic volunteer group that pursues projects and discussions on race. RARE has raised over $250,000 for scholarships for students of color at RHS, is producing a documentary film about the history of race and integration at RHS and is now launching additional initiatives to enhance racial equity in all Seattle high schools and beyond.
