Join CoCA for the opening reception of Damon Brown's solo exhibition Figment of Imagination (Feb 16 - March 25, 2023). Figment of Imagination invites viewers to ponder the power of the imagination to bring people together to help us overcome the challenges standing in the way of our aspirations. The exhibition delves into themes of community, belonging, and the pursuit of personal and collective dreams. Damon Brown is Seattle based artist who, from an early age, loved art and creativity. Drawing inspiration from comic books, he spent countless hours exploring different images and heroic storylines, opening his eyes to the possibilities of artistic creation. “As my imagination grew, I began to study various art movements, illustration styles, and urban art.” Exhibition Opening Reception: February 16, 6-9PM Pioneer Square First Thursday: March 2, 5-8PM Public Viewing: Thur-Sat 11am-4pm
