Spectres and Relics Opening Reception
Three artists examine architecture and the changing dynamics of urban space through sculpture, illustration, painting, and photography. Max Cleary combines assemblage and photography to break down the spectacle of contemporary industrial development. Sofya Belinskaya adopts domestic objects and personification to interpret the oneiric and anatomical psychology of houses. Alex Boeschenstein examines intimate spaces through the frameworks of intrusive visualization technologies and hand-drawn forms of representation.
The exhibition is on view at AXIS in Pioneer Square February 2nd - March 31st.
