JENNIFER AMENT IS PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE HER FIRST ENCAUSTIC SOLO EXHIBITION OPENING FOR FIRST THURSDAY ARTWALK IN PIONEER SQUARE SEATTLE.
Inspired by what she calls, “her own astral out of body expeditions to distant galaxies,” Ament imagines what floating in space with full awareness would feel like in the paintings she has created for this show, and invites viewers to transcend their own personal center of gravity and the known world, and explore the mysteries of the universe. “If we can detach ourselves from the past, and the ideas we have turned into doctrine, we can approach the future frontier with intrepid spirit. Find our power for good and rise to a higher state of consciousness, to the galaxies above.”
