Small Business Saturday: November 25th

Come shop for the holidays and support your favorite neighborhood businesses on Small Business Saturday on November 25th. Check out the Pioneer Square business listing map for a full array of retail shops, art galleries, and eateries in the neighborhood. Please visit their individual websites to discover specific Small Business Saturday events and promotions that may be happening. 

The Alliance for Pioneer Square is offering FREE PARKING on Small Business Saturday at Butler Garage - 114 James St. Please tell the attendent you are there for the Small Business Saturday to take advantage of free parking. Vehicles left after closing (12a midnight) subject to regular parking fees.

3rd Annual Holiday Market: December 8th - December 9th 

The Pioneer Square Holiday Market returns for the third year. Now a two-day event, join us at Occidental Square Park on Friday, December 8th from 3p - 7p and Saturday, December 9th from 11a - 3p. 

Need to shop for holiday gifts? The Holiday Market features 40+ vendors, including craftmakers, sustainable gifts, local artists, and much more. Enjoy food and drink vendors from the neighborhood and beyond. Our friends at the Downtown Seattle Association will have a free public skating rink onsite during the Holiday Market (free skate rentals included). There will be entertainment from local performers, free cocoa, and much more! The Pioneer Square Holiday Market is free and open to the public.

Ornament Scavenger Hunt: November 2nd - December 21st

From November through December, we're having a weekly Ornament Scavenger Hunt throughout Pioneer Square every Thursday and Small Business Saturday (November 25th). Partnering with retail businesses and art galleries throughout the neighborhood, we're hiding one (or two or three!) ornaments a week for you to discover and take home. Each ornament is unique and handblown by Glasshouse Studios. There will be a total of 12 ornaments up for grabs. We'll post clues every week on our Instagram, so be sure to follow us and keep an eye out on our Stories!, 

Did you find an ornament? Congratulations! The ornament is yours to keep and enjoy. Please let the employee know at the retail or gallery location that you found it in. They will ask for permission to take your photo to share on social media. Let them know if that would be alright! 

Ornaments are available for purchase at Glasshouse Studios at 311 Occidental Ave S if you missed out on the scavenger hunt. They make exellent gifts for the holidays!

Chief Seattle Club Supply Drive: November 25th - December 31st

The Alliance for Pioneer Square and Pioneer Square Residents’ Council are partnering up again this holiday season for a supply drive benefiting Chief Seattle Club, a Native-led housing and human services agency located in the neighborhood. This year, we are asking community members to donate new items listed on Chief Seattle Club’s Amazon wishlist- please no used goods. Collection boxes will be located throughout the district, including at Caffé Umbria, Cone and Steiner, and Shawn O’Donnell’s American Grill and Irish Pub. Use this link to access the wishlist.
