April is Jazz Appreciation Month (JAM), and The Knife Room is quadrupling down on live jazz to celebrate. That's right, you can catch live jazz music every Thursday evening in April, where we've hired four incredible bands to bring you a variety of genres and themes that rejoice in jazz rhythm revelries. Bakbuk Bakbuk plays a mix of original music and re-invented classics in styles from all over the world. Salsa, Waltz, Klezmer, Swing, Hip-Hop and Samba are some of the main inspirations for the earthy, acoustic sound that Eli Rosenblatt (guitar, lead vocals) and Matt Weiner (Bass, vocals) create. This core plays as a duo and also adds other players to bring out different flavors and feels in their unique style. Their music is at once raw and elegant, with rhythm and swing to start the dance party and captivating melodies to entice the ear.
