Public Transit

Hundreds of Metro and Sound Transit buses pass through Pioneer Square daily - below and aboveground. The subterranean Pioneer Square Station is a major stop in Downtown Seattle's transit tunnel, where several bus routes and Sound Transit's Link Light Rail pass through. In addition to the several bus routes that stop aboveground, King Street Station's Amtrak and Sounder trains provide longer range travel options. By water, the water taxi and state ferry terminals are housed on Piers 50 and 52 respectively.

Taxi

Pioneer Square's late-night taxi stand is located on the west side of Occidental Avenue South, between South Washington Street and Yesler Way. The stand accommodates up to four taxis during the hours of 10 pm and 6 am.
