Radha Vatsal signs Murder Between The Lines

Elspeth Bright, a gifted student Kitty meets there, dies over winter break—frozen to death in Central Park. Without any other signs of foul play, the doctor and even Elspeth’s family believe that her sleepwalking is the cause of the tragedy. But Kitty isn’t so sure. Kitty visits the family to pay her respects and meets Elspeth’s mother, Maria Bright, a member of the Congressional Union, a vocal suffrage group. Elspeth’s father, Dr. Bright, is a scientist who serves on the Naval Consulting Board, which evaluates civilian proposals for new naval inventions. One of Elspeth’s friends says she was working on something to do with batteries, and Kitty learns that the inventor, Thomas Edison, has a new battery that will soon be submitted to the naval board for approval. Could Elspeth’s father’s job have anything to do with her death?

For fans of Susan Elia MacNeal, Jacqueline Winspear, and Rhys Bowen, Murder Between the Lines is based on true historical events and follows beloved character Kitty Weeks on another WWI adventure.
