Curt Labitzke debuts highly textural, classically inspired mixed media works in Palimpsest – def. layers beneath the surface at ZINC contemporary Thursday, July 6 – Saturday, July 29, 2017.
Through his subtractive process, Labitzke excavates the timeworn surfaces in his work to uncover ancient layers below. Labitzke will be present at the opening reception on Thursday, July 6, 2017, 5-8pm, in conjunction with Pioneer Square First Thursday Art Walk.
