Memento Mori

Hours

Thursday 8/11

7:00pm - 8:30pm

Join PROFESSOR VANDERBECK as he takes the audience on a 90-minute long surreal journey exploring the themes of madness and mortality, while surrounded by the unearthly artifacts found in Spooked in Seattle's famous Death Museum.

PROFESSOR VANDERBECK has been obsessed with mathematics since he was a child, and believes that proper understanding of the underlying principles of the Universe allows him to penetrate the veil of the future and garner insight into the mysteries of space, time, energy, mind and spirit. He will demonstrate his love for the game of chess, recreate the famous experiments of Dr. J.B. Rhine conducted at Duke University in the 1930s, discover the hidden fears of select audience members, attempt to make contact with a resident of one of the most famous lunatic asylums in history, perform the deadliest card trick, and finally settle the philosophical debate of free will versus predestination, all the while answering questions submitted from the audience in the most unusual manner.
