WHAT: Caffé D’arte grand opening of Pioneer Square flagship café;Grand opening festivities include ribbon cutting and Mayor proclaiming Dec 5 is “Caffé D’arte Day,” and giveaways including raffle for professional home espresso setup machine and free 12 oz coffee from 10am – 3pm.

With roots planted in Seattle’s artisan coffee culture more than 30 years ago, the café will offer Seattleites the traditional, hand-crafted Italian coffees Caffé D’arte is known for, nestled in its Pioneer Square café. The new, 1,300 sq. ft. café consists of a curated retail shop featuring a stovetop espresso bar that pays homage to the traditional Italian way of making their morning cup of coffee, as well as a Nitro wood-roasted cold brew on draft. Also, different blends of drip and espresso-based products are featured, including fair trade, organic and wood-roasted. Food offerings consist of a choice selection of pastries and sandwiches from Seattle’s Alki Bakery, French Connections and Rain Shadow Meats. 

DETAILS: To celebrate their new home in one of Seattle’s most historic neighborhoods, Caffe D’arte will begin selling at the grand opening a limited-time release “Pioneer Square Roast” to honor the historic charm of the neighborhood. Proceeds of sales will benefit the Alliance for Pioneer Square, which is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization devoted to the betterment of Pioneer Square through advocacy, programming, marketing and community action. Media interviews will be available with Caffé D’arte executives and Alliance For Pioneer Square executives.
